cedar key to happiness...

feels like home...

it's a jungle out there on the natural coast of florida

life is a walk in the (RV) park, where at least two species thrive.

Captain Landlord Larry and Rahhn's   lonely but tasty spotted sea trout

Sassy and Bella, welcoming the fish
this fish appears smaller than it really is...

the nearby town of Cedar Key from one side...

and from the other...
because of this...

this is possible...

so close!

no shark music, please.

and this moment on an island is worth everything... except i'll tell you what's missing: Sassy, Bella, Kody, Kalee, Buffy, and of course Me.

who knew Florida has good air

ok. so next thing i know...Rahhhn finds that Texas air is full of fumes.  could it be the oil wells?  dunno. but all he has to do is sneeze, and we pack and go.  maybe it was the red tide. who knows.

one minute i was happy learning to be a bird watcher/chaser and next thing i knew... we were leaving!  cross the free ferry

where would they try?

i'm all about the journey.  i am a sight see-er.  i am On It!

sometimes a girl just hasta take a break and play with her toys.

oh no. you know what 'leeeen does when we have a crisis ahead.  cover my ears!!

it does look strange and the bus is tilting...  outer space?

cap'n Rahhhn is happy driving like it's Girard...

you know.  she's right. this thing is freaky. and we have to go through it. over it. under it. yikes.  it's weird, but the screaming is unnecessary.  someone find me ear plugs, pleeze...

oh yeahhh.   groovy.  i remember the white sands.  i am one with the powder...

and even at Fort Picken's National Park, i am a bird watcher.  i am a bird expert.  i know their every move, breath, let me go there!  i care.  my peeps won't let me do much about it, but i know i could.  these are nesters in a tree ruined by Katrina.  her mark is everywhere.  nevertheless, survivors survive.  look at me.

no..  look at this.  this is the sunset but not even on the beach.  i am not allowed on the beach (unlike Texas) and so i can't take pictures of the actual amazing sunset.  but as as seen from our campsite, it's still pretty awesome...

this is my windblown pout.  i'm learning   :)
