a new place, a new year. we've been quiet while loved ones process pain, and we wait it out to see what's next. here at the big brown beach i try to get my peeps to walk and fish every day. some days i win and we go to the beach and i proceed to choke myself on whatever harness they've roped me into. if Only i could get my freedom and frolic in the jellyfish wrack line, chase those shore birds and surf the waves!

ho hum...another day at the office |

nice mix, a heron and a bull dozer. that's Texas. | i really want a bird. seagull, piper, heron, and they won't even let me have a tern. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

these beautiful beaching man'o wars really have my attention. they look like a lot of fun. i know i could pop one or bounce it in the air like a beach ball. but the peeps totally freak out when i try to get close.

their tendrils are even longer in the water--they drape 20 feet from the body. on this beach they still have their sting |

and i really, really want to Pop It! |
|
look at the color! |

dinner this day was sheepshead, sorry Charlie, but it was delicious |
it's winter you know, and when the rain falls, the wind blows, the storm threatens, the skies are angry, i let them stay indoors. i ordered holiday cranberry muffins and lattes for all. i'm taking the picture, so you can't see mine. Happy New Year!!!
